Self-Catering from St Michaels

These stylish apartments are all about ocean views and Cornwall beach life. With sumptuous sea balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows, and generous contemporary living space, the self-catering apartments are set within the Liner development, next to St Michaels and overlooking the beautiful Gylly Beach. Each space has its own individual flavour, with full kitchens and a range of bedroom options, but its safe to say that every beach apartment offers a lavish slice of ocean drama, with seaside splendour on a scale unmatched by almost every self-catering cottage in Cornwall.

Embark on memorable coast path strolls, magical beach days or sumptuous spa experiences, all of which lie within moments of these special seaside spaces. But there is another option - simply give in to the pull of that balcony, with its ever-changing panorama of ocean drama, and abundant space for al fresco living.

Gyllyngvase Beach (known affectionately to everyone except scrabble players as Gylly) is a magnet for local sea swimmers, paddleboarders and kayakers throughout the year. Its sheltered shores and warm sands are perfect for beach days too. The coast path strikes out from the far end of the cove leading to secret beaches and onwards towards the peaceful majesty of the Helford River, beyond which the Lizard peninsula lies in wait.

Falmouth Town sits a short walk away, bursting with a vibrant food scene, bustling harbour, independent shops and historical delights which include Pendennis Castle (visible from your balcony) and the National Maritime Museum (which charts Falmouth’s rich maritime past). Across the water, via a short ferry ride to the charming village of St Mawes, the Roseland peninsula offers the wilder side of Cornwall with long, quiet beaches and miles of coast path, hidden creeks and sleepy coastal settlements to explore.
