Bar Manager
Bar Manager

St Michaels Resort, Falmouth is looking to recruit an exceptional Bars Manager. The award winning Resort is located just steps away from the stunning Gyllyngvase beach, Falmouth. Following the multi-million-pound investment into new bedrooms, a world-class spa, state-of-the-art health club and creating award-winning dining, our offering goes from strength to strength, as we continue to deliver outstanding service and achieve continued success.

Reporting directly to our Food and Beverage Manager, as Bars Manager you’ll oversee the day to day management of all of our Bars. This is an exciting and challenging role, whereby you will be take ownership for the beverage business front of house. This is not a desk job! Leading by example, leading from the front, working shifts and leading services, you’ll motivate and inspire a team of supervisors and crew. You will enjoy developing their skills and have a track record of bringing out the best in people and turning great ideas into reality. You will have experience of delivering consistent and exceptional service whilst driving sales across all beverage operations at the Resort.

 

 

Chef de Partie
Chef de Partie

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Chef de Partie to join our friendly and professional kitchen brigade. The ideal candidate should have excellent cooking skills and experience as Chef de Partie.

Our kitchen brigade is friendly and hardworking; the core of which is going into a third summer together. We are looking to expand as we open new areas and revenue streams. The perfect candidate will have an eye for detail and will be passionate about maintaining and developing our already high standards. We are looking for someone who is happy to hit the ground running, calm under pressure, passionate about cooking, works well in a team and is able to use their experience with aptitude and consistency. Punctuality will also be key in this role.

The hours will be varied and will include some early and late shifts; weekend and holiday working is normal; however all our chefs work a compressed four-day working week.

Food & Beverage Assistants
Food & Beverage Assistants

We are currently looking for full time Food & Beverage Assistants to join our friendly and hard-working F&B crew.

The perfect candidate will be passionate about maintaining and promoting the Resort's identity and will want to work in a 2AA Rosette environment. We are looking for someone who wants to work in a fast paced environment at one of Cornwall's finest Resorts.

The hours will be flexible, early and late shifts, Monday-Sunday. Experience preferred but not essential.

Health Club Receptionist
Health Club Receptionist

We are looking for an active Health Club receptionist to join our friendly and dynamic crew. This role is all about customer service and will encompass all elements of what our Health Club Receptionists do; from welcoming members, greeting Resort guests, signing up new members, running tours of the club and having a good understanding of all of our added extras. This role will be across various days, including the weekends, and shift patterns (generally 6am-2pm or 2pm-9pm). We considering flexing the requirements of the role to suit the right candidates.

Property Assistant
Property Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and hard-working Property Assistant to join our dedicated team at St Michaels Resort to assist the Manager with the internal and external maintenance of all buildings and engineering services at the hotel in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner. Ensuring a high standard of appearance and smooth running for the enjoyment and comfort of St Michaels’ guests. With guest satisfaction at the forefront of what we do, you will assist with reactive maintenance and with a programme of planned maintenance, ensuring that this is undertaken with minimum distribution to guests and facilities. As Property Assistant, you will have an understanding of and assist with adherence to Health and Safety and other statutory regulations and company policies and procedures, ensuring these are considered and complied with at all times.

This role is Monday-Sunday 8.30am- 4.30pm 5 days a week

Resort Night Attendant

To provide assistance with the operations of our 4-star resort. Nothing is more important than the high standards of cleaning and service that our teams provide. You will play a dynamic part during the night in ensuring all areas of the resort are deep cleaned and inspected ready for the day ahead.

This role may vary at times depending on the needs of the business, so it is important to be flexible and have outstanding attention to detail.

Shift time 09.00-05.00

Room Attendants
Room Attendants

Due to increased and sustained levels of business at the Resort we are looking for Room Attendants to join our friendly and dynamic crew. These roles are full-time and permanent; please only apply if you can work 5 days a week!

Our Room Attendants work in a small close-knit team servicing guest bedrooms quickly and efficiently. No previous experience necessary, but an eye for detail and willingness to get stuck in with good levels of physical fitness is essential; as is a sense of humour!

This role will involve working Monday-Friday. Our Room Attendants work 9.00am-3.00pm, but we can flex a little to suit the right candidates and we will need some flexibility from you too.
