The Health Club is now open, with restrictions.

Every visit to the Health Club for members and resort guests is by pre-booking only. Sauna and steam rooms are closed 12 Apr - 16 May

Please carefully review information here relating to our Covid-secure Health Club restrictions. If you have specific questions not answered here, or for help with booking sessions, please email

Booking a session for gym, swim or classes
You will need to book your session before arriving at the Health Club via the Fitsense app (for members) and with our reservations team (for resort guests). All bookings cover your chosen membership category - Gym Only, Swim Only, Gym and classes or Fully inclusive.

Swimming pool, gym, gig and spin spaces are all in operation. Classes will operate outdoors in April and a large amount of classes will continue outdoors through the sukmer months.

Arriving at the Health Club
Members may arrive at the same time at the beginning of each session and to allow for this we’re asking you to queue, socially distanced, to the right of the Health Club entrance, following the signage you see on arrival, down the ramp and into the car park if necessary. We expect all members to observe this system and entry will be refused to anyone who isn’t working with us to support safe arrivals.

Stay safe, enjoy the space
You will need to book a session before attending the Health Club.
When you enter the Health Club you will notice our crew wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining social distancing and you will also find that some facilities are out of use. All of these measures are in place to protect our members and crew. We ask that you help everyone to stay safe by following our Covid-secure guidance while you’re using the Health Club. For us, safety and cleanliness are the most important factors for the foreseeable future, and we expect every member to work along with us by respecting the rules.

Gym floor
Gym, spin and gig studio will all be open but we will be operating at diminished capacity on the gym floor, with screens between machines where possible and some machines out of use to allow everyone to remain safe in their workout bubble.

We have an extremely limited capacity in the swimming pool. Even where you are able to book a gym & swim session and are intending to swim, where the pool is already full, members will need to use other facilities instead, or wait.

Swimmers will of course want to have use of showers at the end of sessions and we ask that you move through the changing rooms as quickly as possible, respect the space of other members and wait your turn as required. The sauna and steam room remain closed until 17 May.

Wellness Rooms
We will not be offering St Michaels wellness consultations in these rooms until we are able to do so safely.

Changing rooms & towels
We’re asking that you make minimal use of changing rooms, aside from using the toilet and washing hands. Resort guests should bring towels from their rooms. We will be supplying towels for member use as requested. Please arrive ready for your workout or swim and keep everything with you where it is practical to do so.

Our sunbeds are open. Please email to book.

Membership fees
We have contacted all members via email to explain direct debit and pre-pay membership fee schedule and how this has worked throughout lockdown closures and reopenings, if you have queries, please email

Eating and drinking
From 17 May Brasserie on the Bay and Garden Kitchen will be open to members and guests. The Garden Kitchen will be open from 3pm, Brasserie on the Bay from 12.30, and the bar/lounge areas are open at all times.
