Cornish Seal Sanctuary in Falmouth is a perfect family fun day, and you learn something new while you’re there! Seal Sanctuary are a charity with a mission to find forever homes for their wildlife by rescuing, nurturing and releasing them into the wild.
They provide family experiences which all proceeds go directly to the Sea Life Trust such as a ‘keeper for the day’ ticket, a ‘breakfast with the seals’ experience, cream teas, boat trips, photography tours and so much more! Why not come here before returning to your seaside residency to wind down for the evening?
The Rockpool Project based on Castle Drive close to St. Michael’s Resort is a marine conservation adventure hotspot catering to families, schools, and anyone interested in learning more about marine wildlife!
They do holiday clubs, beach talks, rockpool safaris, heritage projects and mini days out for all the family to get involved in! Maritime Museum is only a five-minute walk away from our resort and always has ongoing, fun exhibitions engaging all ages and groups! This is particularly good if you’re looking to have a ‘rainy day in’ activity. Currently, they’ve got their ‘Silhouettes and Shadows’ exhibition going on, so if you’re taking a stroll into Falmouth town, book your visit for some autumnal spooky family fun your kids will be raving about all day before an easy stroll back to the beachfront with your gift-shop goodies.
