The Pandora Inn, Resonguet
Our favourite is the creekside Pandora Inn at Restronguet, about a 15 minute drive away. Dating all the way back to the 13th century with flagstone floors, low beamed ceilings, open fires and thatched roof it’s like stepping back in time. Find a table on the floating pontoon and enjoy fantastic food on the water. Food is served all day and the award-winning menu is packed full of the freshest local produce.
The Ferryboat Inn, Helford Passage
We also love the Ferryboat Inn at Helford Passage, right on the banks of the Helford River. This 300 year old pub has a beachside terrace and specialises in oysters from their own farm just up the river. You can also catch the little ferry from here and cross over the river to the pretty village of Helford, perfect for an evening stroll.
