Activities at Gyllyngvase Beach

It's time to experience all that Falmouth has to offer

There's a reason that Gylly is the sandy jewel in Falmouth's crown. It’s the perfect place to try something new with water sports lessons and experiences from WeSUP and Gylly Adventures, as well as offering a peaceful haven to relax. Our Health Club also features beach classes in the spring and summer months including boxing, yoga and kettlebell workouts.

For the families, the calm waters of the south-coast and Blue Flag status make the perfect waters to take the children for a swim.

Clean and safe waters For the families

With a Blue Flag status and an RNLI lifeguarded beach (between May – September), take the family for a swim or play in the sand at Gyllyngvase beach.

Pick up a bucket and spade at the beach shop and take advantage of the public toilets, showers and the car park only 100 yards away. Gyllyngvase beach is an advocate for safe swimming which you will see during the surf lifesaving club's children sea safety lessons. Also, watch out for the red and yellow flags which mark out the safe bathing waters.
