Falmouth Oyster Festival

Falmouth Oyster Festival celebrates the start of the oyster-dredging season, focusing on the native Fal oyster and highlighting traditional methods of harvesting, using only sail and oar.  One of Cornwall’s biggest and best-loved culinary events, the festival brings together a blend of esteemed local chefs, hardworking oyster fishermen, food and drink enthusiasts and an eclectic mix of musicians.  The vibrant programme includes cookery demonstrations, Cornish food produce, arts and crafts, real ale and wine bars, oyster and seafood bars, live music, working boat racing, a grand oyster parade and a most fiercely contested oyster shucking competition.

Make us your base for the week and enjoy an exclusive 3-night Oyster Festival package between 12th – 15th October from £395 per person, including one dinner, a seafood lunch and glass of champagne at the Falmouth Oyster Festival and one evening’s entry to the festival, plus breakfast each morning.
