Little ones can visit Santa’s Grotto, while grown-ups unwind with warm mince pies and steaming mulled drinks. As evening falls, settle into the Brasserie on the Bay for three courses of exquisite Cornish fare, served with ocean views and a generous helping of festive cheer.
As the big day draws near, Christmas Eve at St Michaels invites you to slow down and savour the moment. Begin with a leisurely Cornish breakfast, then take the day at your own pace - meander through Falmouth’s festive streets, stroll along windswept beaches, or retreat into the calm of the
hotel. As dusk settles, the spirit of the season comes alive. A live brass band fills the air with carols and festive cheer, setting the scene for a beautifully prepared three-course Christmas Eve dinner in our ocean-facing Brasserie.

As Christmas morning breaks over the Cornish coast, your celebration begins with a special breakfast and a glass of fizz - setting the tone for a day of indulgence and joy. For the adventurous, a brisk dip in the sea at nearby Gylly Beach offers a spirited start. Join the locals, take the plunge, and warm up afterwards with hot chocolate and a fresh pastry. From midday, settle in for a five-course Christmas lunch, crafted with care and full of festive flavour. As evening draws in, relax into your surroundings and enjoy a delicious meal, followed by our much-loved Christmas quiz.
Boxing Day begins gently, with a relaxed breakfast brunch to ease you into the day. Then, perhaps, a crisp walk along the coast path - fresh sea air, winter light, and time to simply wander. Return to the warmth of St Michaels and take the afternoon your way: a quiet nap in your room, a sea-view spa session, or simply time to pause and restore.
