One of the biggest weeks in the town’s calendar, is Falmouth Week.

From Friday 9 up to Sunday 18 of August, the town will be filled with smiles and sunshine. From the breath-taking air show, to the hog roast and cider night, Falmouth Week is sure to keep you entertained from beginning to end. All ticketed events are brought to you by Southwest Bars and Events.

Pink Wig Night - Kicking off 2019’s Falmouth Week is a bright pink girl’s night out! Raising money and awareness for breast cancer, get ready for a girls night out. Find out more about Pink Wig Events.

10am-4pm True Butterflies Comic and Movie Fest – True Butterflies, a charity supporting survivors of domestic abuse and their families gives you the chance to meet a Star Wars Jedi or your favourite Superhero in this exciting event to raise funds and awareness for the foundation. This free event will have a range of stalls, displays and activities, making it a great day out for all ages.

6:30pm onwards Falmouth Carnival – Lead by Falmouth Marine Band, the marching carnival will once again parade through the streets, starting at Falmouth Rugby Club

The Wurzels Hog Roast and Cider Night – Returning to Falmouth Week for their 13th year are West country legends – The Wurzels. For a great range of local ciders, cask beers and a delicious hog roast, head down to Event Square. Buy your tickets here.

Falmouth Rocks! – An epic rock night awaits you at Events Square on Monday night with Wrong Jovi, Guns 2 Roses and AC/DC UK. Get your tickets here.

Falmouth Week Air Show – For a brand-new air show this year, three aerobatic display teams will be flying into Falmouth. Get ready to witness an hour of breath-taking stunts and thrilling manoeuvres from The Blades, AeroSuperBatics WingWalkers and Strikemaster Pair along Falmouth’s Seafront from 5:45pm-6:45pm. Sponsored by Falmouth Town Council, Falmouth BID, Fal River, Falmouth University, Pendennis Shipyard and Gylly Beach Café.

The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show ­– Following on from the exhilarating day watching the air show, head down to Events Square to see iconic DJ Craig Charles for a night filled with funk and soul from the returning legend. Tickets available here. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Ska Night featuring The Dualers and Rudi’s Message – Get ready for reggae, rhythm and blues when The Dualers join local legends Rudi’s Message for this year’s hugely popular Ska Night. Tickets available here.

Science in the Square – Come down to Events Square between 12pm-4pm and be a scientist for the day. Hosted by the University of Exeter, join in with interactive sessions, challenge the experts and explore nature’s ‘Hidden Worlds’. This free event gives children of all ages the chance to experience first hand, the wonders of science. Find out more here.

80’s vs 90’s Extravaganza – Are you an 80s or a 90s kid? Find your brightest leg warmers and reminisce about all the good times in the 80s vs 90s extravaganza with S Club 3 and an 80s DJ set from Martin Kemp. More acts to be announced. Strictly 18+ only. Tickets available here.

Falmouth Week Fireworks Display – After a whirlwind day head down to the harbour for this year’s fireworks display. Best views will be all along the harbour from the docks lookout through the Prince of Wales Pier. The display takes place at 10pm over the harbour.

The Bohemians – The epic Queen tribute act – The Bohemians – are back once again on Saturday night at Events Square. Get ready for a high energy show full of your favourite Queen anthems. Tickets available here.

Dragon Boat Racing – The final day of Falmouth Week starts off with a fun-filled water sports activity that is sure to get your adrenaline pumping. Dragon boats are canoe-like vessels fitted with ornately carved dragon’s heads and tails.

Jethro and The Oggymen – Ending Falmouth Week with a bang, local legends Jethro and The Oggymen. Get ready for comedy, shanties and plenty of laughs in this final night of shoreside entertainment. Tickets available here.
