Falmouth Triathlon: The Seal - Cornish Tri Series

Falmouth

The Falmouth triathlon is part of the Cornish Tri Series – an event in every local’s diary! Made up of the Wadebridge Tri, the Bodmin Tri and our personal favourite, the Falmouth Tri.

With white sand, turquoise water and awe-inspiring views over the Lizard Peninsula from Henry VIII’s Pendennis Castle, the Falmouth Triathlon is a treat for all senses. Both open-water experienced and novices alike will love racing in the calm waters of Cornwall’s swimming hotspot, the blue flag rated Gyllyngvase beach, opposite St Michaels Resort.

Taking place on Sunday 15 September 2019, the Falmouth Tri has different categories to choose from: the Big Seal, the Little Seal, the Triple Tri Relay Champs and the Scootathlon.

The Little Seal is perfect for your little ones aged 8-16 and consists of a 300m sea swim, 9.7K bike ride and 2.4K run.

The Big Seal for ages 15 and above and consists of a 600m sea swim, 18K bike ride and 4.8K run.

Why not grab your friends to join in the fun and give the Tri Season 2019 a thrilling send-off with the fast and furious Triple Tri Relay Champs. 3 team members, 3 super sprint triathlons, 3 times the fun with mix, all female and male teams competing for a spot on the podium. Consisting of a 300m sea swim, 9.7K bike ride and 2.4K run, it's time to fire up the team internal competition.
