Closure due to Coronavirus
In line with the UK government safety restrictions, it is with great regret that we took the decision to close St Michaels Resort from Sunday 22 March at 6pm, with the intention to reopen on Friday 1st May 2020.
The Health Club and Spa closed on Friday 20 March and a deep clean of these facilities is underway to ensure that upon re-opening, these facilities are clean, safe and ready to welcome you, our friends and supporters, back to St Michaels.
Though it is a devastating time for the hospitality industry, the health and wellbeing of our guests, crew and suppliers is the biggest concern at this time.
If you are due to visit during the closure period, we have no option but to postpone your visit. Our reservations team are ready and waiting to help and we are in the process of contacting all future guests by email.
Reservations opening hours
Our reservations team are now available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. The office is now closed over the weekend. Please contact the team by email on firstname.lastname@example.org and they will respond to you as quickly as possible, giving you a call back if preferred.
Existing resort bookings
We hope that you will choose to book for a new date after 30 April 2020, and if plans seem hard to forge at this time, we’ll happily credit your account for the full balance of your stay, with the option to rebook any available dates during the next 24 months. When booking new dates, if you are transferring to a lower rate than you have already paid, we will refund the difference. If you move your booking to a higher-rate period, you will need to pay the outstanding balance.
Our reservations team are ready and waiting to discuss rebooking and refunds with you.
Existing spa bookings
Spa bookings can be moved to any date with availability in the next 24 months, starting Friday 1 May 2020. If we are unable to honour the new date, your booking will be transferred again.
We will cancel and offer full refunds if preferred, but we’d ask you to continue to support the Cornish hospitality industry by transferring your booking to a later date.
Health Club members
With the health club closed, we are currently working on a plan to compensate members for the closure period.
If your event is coming up soon, please get in touch with our events team to discuss rescheduling for a date beyond 30 April.
As you might expect, our reservations team is being flooded with calls, so please understand that it may take us a short while to attend to your query. Please email us at email@example.com.
If your booking is after 1 May 2020, please refrain from contacting our reservations team as we try to provide the best possible support and reassurance to guests with imminent breaks.
Finally, we want to place on record our huge thanks to the tireless crew and suppliers who have seen us through an incredibly challenging time with the same positivity, humour and charm that makes St Michaels such a special place.
